I’m curious to know what all of my followers are reading! I’m always looking for new book suggestions (especially graphic novels and YA!) and I thought I would turn to my fellow book nerds! I’m currently reading a book called Shrill by Lindy West which actually just got released as a TV show over on Hulu! IT IS SO GOOD. I really like it! Shrill provocatively dissects what it means to become self-aware the hard way, to go from wanting to be silent and invisible to earning a living defending the silenced in all caps.” The other book that I am reading is the Baby-Sitters Club volume 3: Mary Anne Saves the Day by Raina Telgemeier which is actually a graphic novel adaptation of the original books! I never read the original Baby Sitters Club books as a kid so I’m really loving getting the chance to read these as a graphic novel. I’m also reading a few manga right now including Assassination Classroom and a newer one called Ao Haru Ride, volume 1.
