Monthly Recap: February

It’s the end of February! I got quite a bit of reading done this month and I read some fantastic books! I also have a fun bot of news to share with you guys! But for now onto the books!

Best Books of the Month:

• My first Best book of the month is To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han. I know this was a really popular book when it first came out but I missed it then. I watched the movie (I KNOW) when it came out on Netflix and I LOVED it so I was very excited to read the book! (Just a side note, I’m actually read the second book, P.S. I Still Love You right now!) I really love Laura Jean Covey. I want to protect her at all costs because she’s so precious! I’m really loving the second book (which I will update you all on as soon as I’m finished!) and I can’t wait to read the third one!
• The Gentlemen’s Guide To Vice and Virtue by Mackenzi Lee is my second Best book of the month. This book is SO GOOD!!! I read this as an e-book and as we know I’m not really a fan of e-books UNLESS they are really freaking good like this one! I flew through this book and I just could not get enough of Monty, Percy, and Felicity. The adventures they have and the relationship between Monty and Percy is just so PERFECT. I’m really looking forward to reading the second book ASAP.
• My last Best book for February is My Brother’s Husband, Volume 2 by Gengoroh Tagame. I’m so sad that I’m finished with these books!!!! They are SO GOOD and SO SAD and I love them so much. The characters grow so much in this book, especially Yaichi. I need a third book where they all go to Canada to visit Mike. That would be so awesome! I highly recommend these two volumes! Even though they can be sad at times they are really some of the best manga I have read (ever).

I didn’t really have any Worst books this month. I was really focusing on reading books that I wanted to read and books that I was really looking forward to reading. This year if I don’t want to finish a book I’m just going to DNF it and (try) not feel guilty about it. There are so many good books out there that I don’t want to waste my time. I went to two game nights with my friends, I had a fun Valentine’s Day (I had to work but I got flowers from my fiance!), and I got to go to a boat show in Miami (and got a lot of free stuff!).
